Each computer user usually forms his own set of small programs and utilities that supplements or become an alternative for Windows standard tools like clock, calculator, image viewers and many more. Simple Calendar is a tiny and absolutely free application that is a bright example of such utilities. It is a small calendar that places on your desktop and gives you the possibility of quick access to all important dates. After installing and launching this software a special program icon appears in your system tray. It can be used for hiding the calendar. The calendar always stays on top of all your windows and can be dragged by the mouse to any place of your desktop. The calendar’s window is transparent and has a blue tint. Unfortunately developers of Simple Calendar didn’t provide their product with any extra features and options, like making notes, setting alarm or changing its appearance by setting different skins. So you might feel a serious lack of functionality. But it has such advantages as lightweight and low system requirements. And don’t forget that you don’t have to pay for using it. |
